1. Who you are contracting with

CareerOS AI (the "Service") is operated by Maor Levi ("we", "us", "our"), a sole individual seller. By using the Service you are entering into a contract with Maor Levi.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if using on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind it.

3. Description of the Service

CareerOS AI is an AI-powered career planning product that helps users define goals, generate roadmaps, tailor resumes, prepare for interviews, and track job applications. The Service is provided as a hosted web application.

4. Account and credentials

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose, including spam.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Interfere with the security of the Service (malware, probing, unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, bypassing rate limits).
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a competing product.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate suggestions, resumes, roadmaps, and answers. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are provided for general informational and career-planning purposes only and are not legal, financial, medical, immigration, or other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it.

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate illegal content, harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or malware.
  • Create deepfakes or impersonate real people without their consent.
  • Attempt to jailbreak, exfiltrate model weights, or circumvent safety measures.

You retain rights in the prompts and content you submit, and in the outputs you generate, subject to the rights of the underlying model providers. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you input (e.g. your resume, employer information). We may remove or refuse content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we may act on credible takedown complaints from rights holders.

7. Payment, subscriptions, and billing

Paid plans are sold through our online reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing frequency, tax, currency conversion, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Maor Levi and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have purchased, for your personal or internal business use. No other rights are granted.

10. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to provide and improve the Service to you.

11. Service level and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to access the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms over time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Israel.
